Auntie Sissy and Uncle John John Visit

Earlier this month my older sister and her husband came for their annual visit and RV show. This year it was in San Antonio, TX so they spent a few days up here in Elgin with us before heading down to San Antonio, where the boys and I met up with Auntie Sissy for a couple of days. We had a lot of fun and the time always seems to go to fast.

Days 1-3, these days were spent here at the house. Although, Auntie Sissy and I did sneak out and explore Downtown Elgin and it's new little shops that opened up. But it was rainy and cloudy so we stayed home and just had a wonderful time visiting and cooking.

Day 4 was spent at the San Marcos Outlets...they don't have outlet malls up in Washington state so this is a fabulous go to place for Uncle John John. It was cold though and the boys just had to ride every coin machine we came across...word to the wise...not all were working and many ate our quarters.

Day 5 and 6 were spent in San Antonio. We went to the San Antonio Zoo and froze the entire time, but still had a blast. After we went to the Whitte Museum where they have a huge Children's Tree House where they can explore science. I think about two to three hours were spent here and the boys didn't want to leave when we needed to head out. The next day we met Auntie Sissy at her hotel and walked to Shipley's Doughnuts for a morning snack, then walked down to a park across from the Children's Hospital, then to Big Apple Bagles for lunch. After a yummy lunch we scampered across the street where we spent the rest of the day at the San Antonio Children's Museum. The boys had a huge blast and we did too getting to see how much fun they had.
