Tried a New Version of Pigs in a Blanket

Okay...I have a toddler that tends to be the world's pickiest eater when the mood strikes. Most days he will proudly announce that he would like me to take him to "Old McDonald's"...you know the Golden Arches. Yeah, well, the budget does not agree with that on a daily basis nor does my waist and the strong need to feed my child something healthy on a regular basis. So, I started scanning through all of my recipes (I cut them out of magazines or grab them from surfing the web and either save them in a word document or scan them to the computer) and I came across this recipe that took no time at all to prepare.

Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients:
1 can refrigerator biscuits or crescent rolls
8 hot dogs
4 slices cheese (I used string cheese cut in half)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F. Unroll biscuits or crescent rolls. Cut a slit down the middle of each hot dog and place a half slice of cheese in the slit. Place cheese-stuffed hot dogs in center of dough and roll dough around hot dog, pinching to seal. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with favorite dipping sauces.
