I thought I would also start posting some great recipes that I've been trying out (need to start doing some freezer ones for after Matthew's arrival).
Come-Back-for-More Barbecued Chicken
6-8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. chili powder (I used Ancho Chili Powder)
1/2 cup water
1. Place chicken in slow cooker
2. Whisk together remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Pour sauce mixture over chicken.
3. Cover and cook on high 1 hour and then on low 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender but not overcooked. (I left mine on low from start to finish from 9am-6pm and it was perfect)
Here is our finished dish. I paired it with leftover green beans and white rice.
